I absolutely love this song, one of my favs if you can't already tell from my board name. The lyrics are so touching and the music is just gorgeous.

I love this song, it totally reminds me of one of my friends growing up who has a restless spirit, I think of him almost everytime I hear the song.

I heard this once in Camden 98 been waiting a long ten years and 15-20 concerts later..thought I would have played it at state college....I guess this is what keeps me comeing back

love it, one of my favs. it needs to be played a hell of alot more .... no more alive evenflo ylb or rocking in the free world ... :)

the way eddie sings those are just awesome.
Binaural is the best album. 2000 is the best tour ever. Bring back the Ayotte!

Funny story. Ive always been a PJ fan but about a year 2 years ago I took singing lessons because I wanted to sing a song at my wedding. At time my PJ warmth had cooled because Id heard so much I was listening to other music. Anyway I wanted to learn Seethers version of Immortality. My teacher at the time was helping another student learn how to sing Off He Goes. Id never really paid attention the lyrics until he showed them to me. I was shocked how good they were (Off he goes). “Perfectly unkempt cloths”. Stuff like that

But its kind of funny I learned Seethers version…which is basically the same
