If you'd rather start with a studio album, It Still Moves would be my recommendation.

I'm taking my wife to MMJ in August and she doesn't know anything about the band. We listened to Okonokos on a roadtrip and she liked it. 8-)

Sounds like West Coast tour dates...

From Facebook:

My Morning Jacket
FACT: All MMJ announcements come from our headquarters based on the East Coast.
FACT: The West Coast is three hours behind the East Coast.
FACT: Those on the West Coast might want to think about waking up early on Monday morning...

I wish some of our "tweet...tweet...tweets" contained this much info

Yeah, maybe a little wishful thinking on my part. I just need something to appease the fact that Boston is skipped on this entire tour. And they play California enough. 5 shows last year alone by my count.

Didn't Jim already say Boston was getting NYE? I'm sure there will be more NE shows around that.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

He said nothings finalized. They were working on it and really wanted to make it happen, but nothing definite.

I'm guessing if he's positive enough to tell RS that it happens. Crazy about phish having MSG booked for years.

I'm hoping for a SW run after the west coast.

The Spontaneous Curration Series is such a great idea. I can't even stand it that I'm not hitting any shows this summer.

Being able to vote for setlists, or even opening songs? I love it. No repeats at Red Rocks? What I wouldn't give to make those shows. I wish I was 10 years younger.

I need some Cobra action dammit!!
And what a better night than NYE for that?

I'd also take a full version of Run Thru or Lay Low
Bermuda Highway, Just One Thing...

The list is long...
I got on the MMJ wagon a lil late

Anyone get their Roll Call package yet? Said they'd start shipping early June...

The 3-day Wiltern run is killin me!! Mid-week!! But it is soooo tempting. I think I may come down with a highly suspicious case of something. It could make up for missing T5.
