Garage Band help

Postby he.who.forgets » Tue May 22, 2012 3:34 pm

Can anyone offer a little crash course in Garage Band? I want to try and record some stuff but am not too keen on how to record different parts on top of eachother, for instance, a simple drum beat, then guitar, then maybe vocals. Plus I cant figure out how to shut this fucking metronome up! Anyone use this program? Any tidbits would be much appreciated. Thanks

I use it on my iPad. When I started using it I went to YouTube and watched a couple tutorials. They really helped.

You can turn off metronome under the tool; it looks like a wrench.

Good luck and enjoy.

If anyone needs help with it or have a specific question they can send me a PM. I've been using Garage Band for awhile now since I can't play any real instruments.

thanks everyone! I'm gonna spend a few days messing around and if there's anything that I'm having trouble with, I'll ask. Thanks again 8-)
