Ed at Stanley's last night?

SO LAME!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! He's singing covers to a bunch of drunks!!

Is is cause he doesn't remember the lyrics?? He doesn't remember the lyrics to songs he wrote!!

What is lame is taping it and putting it up on the internet. Ed is trying to have a little fun out on the town and the paparrazi (yes, YouTubers) have to tape it. Praise to the Ten Club and Eddie for trying to have some sort of boundaries. Lame is feeling you are entitled to see a video every time Ed takes the stage or just sings karaoke in a bar. That is LAME.

Why can't people go to a live show and leave with just a memory in their heads? Why does EVERYTHING need to be documented these days?

Seriously, nothing better than paparazzi. People on here would make fun of TMZ, but when it comes to Eddie everything is fair game for some reason. Wake up people!

Even though I watched it twice I do agree with bootlegger
I will walk w/my hands bound
I will walk w/my face blood
I will walk w/my shadow flag

Memories back when she was smooth and strong
and waiting for the world to come along...

I'll play some PJ tunes on the guitar.

Oh, and I see you are from Alberta. Had the best time on my Canadian tour last year in the Banff area. Just a great part of the world.

I wasn't planning on watching the video because its not really a big deal but is it actually a copyright infringement to post that video? I'm curious to know what the law is on that
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

Am I the only one who sees the humor in a person with the name "Bootlegger 10" posting this...

Lol. Ed got drunk at a ball game and then stood up n a crowded bar and did karaoke. 1) that's not a "live show." 2) if he didn't want vid of this getting out then I guess he shouldn't have done it, since it is a literal given that someone would film it and share it. That is the cost of fame, like it or not (I don't like it, but that's reality). Even if it was a C-lister same thing would happen. Not that I don't think he should be out there having fun the way he wants... I'm just surprised they could claim copyright. I know it's not a public place, but it's also not a performance at all. If they can claim copyright on this, then they could claim copyright of every single video clip or photo taken of him in any business establishment no matter the circukstances, and that doesn't make sense. Anyway, fun times! Everyone loves karaoke! :D

I agree with a previous poster to this forum when they wrote that a person should be entitled to have a little fun, and not have their life be taped (or judged) around every corner that they turn.... With that being said, I will respectfully point out that an extremely fun weekend in Chicago (where almost everyone who even stepped out of their house was recorded and taped by some combination of the CPD, Illinois State Police, and/or Homeland Security) would have been made infinitely better with a performance by Eddie. Whether it was on Friday in Daley Plaza with Tom Morello for "the Ghost of Tom Joad," Saturday night at the Tribute to Woody Guthrie, Sunday at Grant Park before the march, or even standing alongside the IVAW at Michigan and Cermak before the black bloc pushed a bunch of innocent people into a line of officers..., any one of those moments would have been enriched and empowered with a rendition of "I am a Patriot," "Masters of War," or even "The Weight."

Rather than ask, I'll let the "why" disappear like that video on youtube. Its not mine to decide - give the guy (and the TC) a break.

People worry about the Patriot Act and Big Brother, but the government could never dream of accomplishing what the Apple iPhone, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube has done.

Yeah, its pretty cool. This is the 2nd time in the past year that he has done this 5-10 minutes from my place. And both times I read about it the next day! :fp:[/quote

me too!! He was only 2miles away from me.

I used to live two blocks from Stanley's.. I just missed him one night.. I miss those days.
