So what's everybody's take on the new record?

I like it a lot but to me Best Friends? still blows it away. But, I personally though Best Friends? was a perfect 10 out of 10 album so it would be hard to top that in my opinion. I still need to pick up the vinyl though, i just don't have the funds to do so right now.

I personally just can't get into this band. I like the song 'Waters Deep' but just can't get into the albums. I just find the music boring I'm not sure what it is. Maybe I just don't like Shawn Smith's singing. I'll keep trying, maybe they'll grow on me...

Really? I think Best Friends? is probably my least favorite Brad Record. I like it alot but I think it's just too slow for me. I love their slow piano songs but there is too many of them mixed together on that album. I LOVE United We Stand, my favorite Brad album. It has a great mix of really rock songs, acoustic song and piano songs. Great lyrics by Shawn Smith and fantastic lyrics. Favorite from that album for me is Diamond Blues, Make the Pain go away, A Reason to be in my Skin and Miles of Rope.

really love this record alot. Not a bad song on here. I think "Miles of Rope" and "needle and thread" are my favorites.

this sounds more like an album to me...although i love the songs on Best Friends a bit more. this one just flows better in my opinion. the first half of best friends flows really well, but it's a little disjointed towards the end.

if i had to rank their albums, i'd put Welcome To Discovery Park firmly in first place....then a 4-way tie for 2nd.
