Maybe it's just me but IMHO this is probably Jack's best record yet.

I think it's a great record. Alot of nice music, catchy guitar licks, awesome Jack lyrics and nice piano hooks. But I still prefer the Raconteurs album over it.

It's definitely up there but I still think Elephant is the best though

I agree. I love Horehound but this one....it's a jewel from beginning to end. I cannot wait to see him next Monday!!!

While I think it's a very good album, I don't think it compares to his first four albums with the White Stripes: The White Stripes, De Stijl, White Blood Cells and Elephant.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

The album is fantastic, but I think Jack was a listening to Jerry Lee Lewis a bit too much. I love the piano and Jack uses it wonderfully on this record, it just needed more Sixteen Saltines.

I love how layered and textured it is. He could have done variations on Sixteen Saltines (song that kicks 20 kinds of ass) and it would have been a great album. But the fact he took chances, really mixed it up....I just love it. There are albums that take some time to grow, and then others that you know you love immediately. Happy to say the latter applied here for me :)
