this made me smile.

there was still love there between them, even if they were no longer "together".

True love, never to be replicated.
I finally after many yeas, and many relationships understand that.
I won't die without the one I Love now, but understand its a love all its own, and would never try to reproduce that with someone else.
I've been married and divorced, and with someone after that extremely special.
Neither of them gave me the joy and pure happiness that I have now.
That don't mean this will be forever, it just means its special unto itself.
And sometimes, true love don't really last. But that don't make it any less true, pure, and real.

Okay, I've said way too much and will disappear into the cracks of the earth again.

What I forgot to mention in that long winded ramble, was that i love this poem.
It really touched me, and that's hard to do with my black heart.
