Wasn't expecting this long a Ticketmaster wait....crap! I hope I get tickets....

Ohhhh you know why it's a long wait? Bruce tickets for MetLife stadium went onsale this morning too. Last time I was trying to get tickets to something else when Bruce tickets went onsale, it was madness!

Got mine for NY!

Wait time was "less than 1 minute"...for about 10 mins.

Sooo someone asked about a NYC pre-party. Bars are not my expertise by any means, so if anyone has better suggestions, I will not be offended.

The bar that came to mind is Tap Room on 3rd Avenue, between 23rd & 24th (Gramercy Theatre is on 23rd between Park & Lex). They have over 40 craft beers on tap. http://www.taproom307.com/

Bull's Head Tavern is a favourite with my friends, but they have no food (you can bring your own or order, though): http://www.bullsheadtavern.com/

There are a ton of other bars on 3rd Avenue in the 20s too.
