I'm generally a fan of Weber, but that's just not okay at all. :nono:

ok after seeing that, that is definitely a suspension, 2 games minimum

you can't allow a player to take both of his hands and drive an opponent's face into the glass after he sucker punched and missed, unacceptable for NHL not to suspend Weber for that horseshit move

Wow, that is definitely a suspension. I expect better from Weber.

Weber probably gets 1 game...Shanny hasn't done anything different than Campbell...or at least for the most part...also wouldn't surprise me if he gets none. It's shaping up to be a heck of a series...could go 7.

I don't know what Weber was thinking, especially with only a few seconds left.

I hope Darren Helm is OK after taking that skate to the arm.

Also, the refs need to keep that whistle on mute in the next game. 17 penalties is ridiculous.

What a fucking idiot. That should be AT LEAST 2 games, if not more. I don't give a shit if it's the playoffs. Complete cheap shot.

We'll see how Shanahan fares with discipline in the playoffs. Whatever he opts to do for this should set a precedent for the remainder of the postseason.

Definitely a suspension coming...will be interested to see if Don Cherry pulls up video from the game showing something Zetterberg did to Weber that set him off. Similar to how he showed Daniel Sedin throwing an elbow at Duncan Keith before Keith leveled Sedin...so we'll see...either way if they don't suspend him I'm fine with that as well.

from the free press

At the end of the 3-2 loss to the Predators, Zetterberg checked Weber, who responded by grabbing Zetterberg's head and slamming it into the glass, twice. Zetterberg wasn't available for comment after the game, Wings coach Mike Babcock said he was too far away to see much and hadn't yet seen the replay, and Weber wrote it off as "playoff hockey."

No word yet from the NHL regarding any possible disciplinary action, but league disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan already has reviewed what happened and will make a decision today. He might just issue a warning, in light of Zetterberg not suffering any injuries. But the NHL has made a big deal all season of protecting players from head injuries.

If you have a spare GA, please PM. Billy is still looking.
