We lost my Dad after a short & intense battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) & I still miss him terribly. Tell others how you feel while you have the chance.

He is sorely missed, but I can feel his presence. Love you, Dad.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. As a nurse, I have always said that ALS is one of the worst/hardest diagnoses that a person could receive, or go through with a loved one. So incredibly difficult and so incredibly sad.

on apr 20 it will be 12 years i lost my mom to breast cancer,not a day has gone by that i dont think of her :(

awww Matt, its so sad to have to go through something like this with a loved one...very hard
But the fact that you are posting on here today proves that you have wonderful memories with him
And that...no one can ever take away

I am sorry, man. My dad's buddy died from ALS a few month's ago. It was long though... Several years... Very sad.
