If there is, I would love to see it. Collected over 4,000 pieces of vinyl the past few months, both new and used and wouldn't grade anything mint. NM is the highest grade that should be given unless a record is absolutely perfect(extremely rare).

So, what you're saying is there is such a thing as a mint vinyl.

Sure, but there are people who think a sealed vinyl is mint. How can you tell? Open vinyl is rarely perfect but once in a great while, you come across one that is flawless.

I don't wanna highjack this thread, sorry, but either of ya lookin' for any NOFX 7"s, or Decline on vinyl, for PJ vinyl? Long shot I know but thought I'd throw it out there, not everyday you see NOFX fans on here.

by definition, the term "mint" means the condition of a coin when it leaves the mint, or, as it has been broadened to include, the place of the manufacturing of an item.

if the vinyl is still inside the original shrinkwrap, providing it hasn't been exposed to water or sunlight let's say, how could it be in anything other than "mint"? even if it contains an error, like wrong labels or a chunk of the vinyl missing even, it's still in the condition in that it was when it left the "mint"...
