So what was Bon Jovi doing in the video I posted? Wasn't he hating on Eddie Vedder and other music?

Seriously. Every single one of them totally spongeworthy.

And yeah...haters gonna hate. But who cares what haters say? Maybe Bon Jovi talked a bit of trash about PJ, and PJ talked a bit of trash about Bon Jovi. Long time ago, and quite frankly, none of us know the full story of who said what to/about who, why, and in what order/context. So I'm, you know...butting the hell OUT and just focusing on enjoying the tunes.

Besides, I bet both Bon Jovi and PJ have a lot more respect for each other now. Both are still hugely successful acts that have stood the test of time...and both bands are very socially aware and donate a lot of money and support to good causes. Further, both Eddie Vedder and Jon Bon Jovi have reps as being decent guys - not douchebags like a lot of rock star frontmen.

On the list of Rock Stars Who Act Like Douchebags, Jon Bon Jovi is WAAAAYYYYYYY far down on the list.

This will not load for me, unfortunately. But I own a DVD of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, and there is quite a long piece on the DVD where Triumph interviews Bon Jovi and later sings with the band - I think he sings "You Give Love a Bad Name", only with the words changed. It is hilarious!
