I'm thinking the latter so Zebra....... I will give a donut t first one who can name the last song on Zebra Live. If you have not heard them you've never listned to Fugazai or nocturnal emissions....

Edit:  yes you have! I meant the opposite. If you're listen to that crap you have no idea who's behind the door.

Last song: Tell Me What You Want (I'm guessing my favourite tune by these guys!).

Great guess. But it's not even one of their own. Hint: they are playing a special set of this band at BB King's in NYC later this year. And even then it's not an obvious song.

As an aside if you can track it down, this is one of the great live albums I have.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Failure

They released "Fantastic Plant" in '96, which had the single "Stuck on You" which got some airplay, had the Depeche Mode cover "Enjoy the Silence" that was released in '98, and then gone. Ken Andrews (lead singer) did some side projects, but even he kinda fell off the face of the earth. Really too bad because Fantastic Planet is an awesome album, one of my favorites. Think I'll spin it now!

Someone mentioned Hum, and they too are phenomenal. They play a couple shows a year in the midwest but haven't released an album since '98.

Another one, although they are back together and touring now, is At The Drive In.

These two. Blind melon is such a great summer band. All 3 albums are perfect to listen to outside during a nice bbq.

Surprised it took 6 pages for someone to mention AiC. Im listening to their last album for the first time in years and really wish Layne could've cleaned himself up for atleast a 4th album. I know they're around now with Duvall but it is not the same at all. Their new album is just a Jerry Cantrell solo record to me. Anyway.....

Uncle Tupelo, anyone?

I second Blind Melon, and would add the original (Gram Parsons) lineup of the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Oh, and Derek and the Dominos...love that one album they did!

they are still called AIC and have every right to call themselves that if they want to. But the Layne AIC is WAY different than the William AIC.
