The team came up short against the mighty Giants.....time to regroup...strengthen the O line and get a deep threat.

The Patriots defense played surprisingly well and the core of the team is STILL strong for another run.

Onto the ALL new Red Sox and spring training down here in Florida.

I would like to hang my hat on this statistic, in the last decade:

Boston: 4 teams= 7 Championships

Patriots: 3 Championships
Red Sox: 2 Championships
Celtics: 1 Championship
Bruins: 1 Championship

New York: 9 Teams = 3 Championships

Giants: 2 Championships
Yankees: 1 Championship

Mets, Knicks, Islanders, Rangers, Sabers, Bills, and Jets= 0 Championships combined!
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

9/29/04 Boston, 6/28/08 Mansfield, 8/23/09 Chicago, 5/15/10 Hartford
5/17/10 Boston
EV Solo: 6/16/11 Boston, 6/18/11 Hartford

Btw..please remove the bills and sabers from the list ..they are closer to Boston than NYC

We do not consider them new York proper teams

The mets should really be removed also..because they're non existent in new York

As well as the islanders...that's a long island team....they are not really NYC proper

I was talking the last 10 years only. Yankees won a series in 2009. Before that was 2000.

I hear ya, neily. To be honest I'm not as upset as some other Pats fans I know. The Giants were the better team and deserved to win that game. I just like to find shit like that to rile up some NY fans.

I read "last decade" as 2000-2009, that's why I wrote that.

Ah, ok. I should have been more specific. After reading what I wrote I see what you mean. But I'll never say the Yankees are better, even if they have 46 or whatever WS trophies. You know that. ;)

Just admit it. First team to win in the new decade and last team to win in the new decade.
