Its about time!!!!! I just ordered one from Sweetwater. It will be a little bit of a wait to get it though. It comes in Vintage Sunburst, Natural and Cherry. I got the sunburst.

good pick up here.

i have never played a 339, but i would like to soon. let us know what you think of it. i am anxious to hear how the coil tapping sounds.

Will do. It could be as late as January before I get it. I hope earlier though.

very nice! i have had an Epiphone Casino for 16 years and love it. They make a good guitar.

I've played the Casino and loved that too. My cousin has one(red). I have been waiting for Epiphone to release a 339 and am so pumped. It sux I have to wait to get it but it will go by fast.

Looks like a nice guitar, you'll need to post a review once you've become acquainted. I'm considering the Epiphone Wildkat since I don't have the spare cash for a Gretch.

I've heard a bunch of bad reviews, so I too am interested in hearing what comes outta the box. I'm also curious about real-world use of the system in the Ultra... But part of me thinks I should just continue to save until I can walk away with a Gibson.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

I have never regretted saving to get 'the real deal'... I have regretted compromising.

I cancelled the order so sorry I couldn't let you know what it's like. I do know that most people complain about guitars "out of the box", but really shouldn't give an opinion until it's been properly set up(not by guitar center).
