so i think i've figured this twitter thing out.....

i've come to the following conclusions....

following a bunch of people is like being in a bar and over hearing conversations, but not being a part of them

tweeting is like beaming a message into deep space, hoping somebody hears it, but not really knowing if anybody does.

and finally, it's good for getting a 1/2 sec blurb about something shortly before it hits other media. ie injury updates

Twitter has been pretty awesome to me. I've won tickets to a couple concerts and games, the Foo Fighters upgraded my shitty tickets to floor seats the day of the show, and I've actually got some pretty cool replies from people.
