and what do you do if the limited editions are numbered? limited edition means that. we all had fair warning and its not like the backpack or vinyl that sold out in hours....

True - I do agree with you BUT surely if we had a petition of say 50-100 wouldnt 10c see the demand and make another run?

but then where do they stop? limited means limited. oh fine, lets say I have number 925 of 3000. oh but wait; some more people complain and demand another run and now someone else has number 3023 of 3050. then another hundred complain becasue they were late to the party and now its 3078 of 3100? that completely ruins the meaning of limited edition.

Surely the fact that it sold out is proof enough for the demand, as well as all the threads about it and the emails that 10C have probably been receiving about it?

Granted - you have a point BUT the term 'Limited Edition' is banded around these day it's like everything is a limited edition! And if they did say limited edition then they should say HOW limited it is - is it a run of 500 or 5000 copies (There's a big difference!).

it was on sale 3 weeks. its not 10Cs fault you didnt order in time. the DVD box set (also LIMITED EDITION) is still in stock (but that will go soon I'm sure) and I doubt there will be any majorly noticeable differnce in quality on most peoples TVs....

Yes it was on sale for 3 weeks but not all of us have $80 to just buy this stuff, some of us have to work really hard and try and save money for these things!

and I concur but if something is limited it should stay limited and then if you cant get it in time tyhen you will have to have the DVD box set instead. its $10 cheaper as well

Look, I know I missed the boat on this one. But if you make something like this (and the rucksack and the posters etc etc etc) limited edition then we all know it'll get flipped on ebay and some sucker buys it 2,3,4 times the face value - which is ultimately what 10c is against!

That's not the point AT ALL... Of course that if you can't afford something, noone's saying you should have while it was available and it was your fault you didn't get it... But that's just how "Limited edition" works... When it's sold out, it's sold out. It's not 10c fault either, they did what they should have done by announcing it was limited... In my opinion, of course.

i'm totally down for a re-stock. i'd love to get the 10c edition over any other blu-ray. i had a hard time fitting the blu-ray into my entertainment budget originally, but i worked it all out hours before it sold out. i was planning to purchase it when i got home from work that day, but obviously that didn't happen.
