Thanks for posting... although this could get expensive. I'm a little disappointed that there is not a blu-ray for The Wall immersion box, like there is with the others.

I wasn't going to bother with these, despite the extra tracks I really want to hear... (great money making ploy by EMI right there, making the rare, unheard tracks available only on the bloody expensive box sets!!)

...however, after seeing Pink Floyd & Roger Waters in the O2 a few weeks ago, my Dad & I have reached a deal that he'll by DSOTM if I buy WYWH and we'll split the cost of The Wall

Got a strong feeling the 2 "TBD" discs of The Wall boxset will be DVD or BluRay of the 1980 Earl's Court concerts, which Roger has been working on for quite a while now. If it's not them, then it's a major con, as they'll be released some day, so it should really be now, with these box sets, instead of ANOTHER "Oh, here's some MORE new stuff you don't own, packaged with the stuff you already do..."

I really don't know why I'm griping. I love Pink Floyd, the design of the box sets looks incredible, the remastered versions will be well worth it... I guess I'm just so used to EMI milking acts without them being involved, but it really seems like the members of the band (or people on their behalf) have put some effort into this. :)

your griping cause it's a cash cow to the purest form. this is like the 3rd boxset released by emi/pink floyd now, correct?

I know of 1 other box set of all the albums, but I won't bother with buying that.

It's the unreleased stuff which is enticing. It may be out there on bootlegs or something, but I've never heard it.

Anyway it's hardly unusual practice nowadays, even PJ are at it! :)
