1. I think it's crazy that we've been to 3 of the same shows spanning more than 10 years, and there's 100% chance we've never met. (roch 94, buff 96, hartford 08)... although maybe less surprising on this board.
1a. is the quote "They came onstage in purple darkness and candlelight and opened with 'Wash'." from rochester 94? that was a SICK opening. it was all dark, you could barely see that they were on stage and then "ooooooohhhh pleeeeeaaaassseee let it rain today....". 2nd only to release at MSG II (08) for the 9 openers I've been lucky enough to see.

2. and more relevant to this thread: I'm (still) a definite maybe for any pre-party. Depends on how early I can get on the road from Albany on Friday AM. It's my b-day... i would like to, um... party?

Delta Chelsea? That's the hotel I will be staying.
The Ed '08 Toronto Preparty's was next door to the Chelsea, at the Elephant & Castle Pub!

I have sent an email to the Brazan Irish Pub. I hope we can score the day with them!

when I was trampled by the bum rush and had to step outside in the snow
for fresh air. Then made it back in but took a seat out of the mayhem.

will probably catch a cab to the brazan pub, which i'm hoping we can get that place!
from there, it's less then a 10 minute walk to the molson amp.

email we got from 10club said tickets will be given around 10am? so i'll pick those up first, then hit the hockey hall of fame.

1) sweetness. I made it the whole show pretty close and was only able to withstand a few songs in front. I was SUPER worried due to the fact that I had knee surgery just 2 months before (made it out ok tho!).

2) ok... i will be the other guy with the same shit eatin' grin. we should be easy to spot. I'm Dave. The first page of this thread doesn't have the bar listed yet, but there's time. lookin forward to meeting you.

3) I booked the Sheraton already or I'd love to split with ya. I got it on priceline so it's already paid. Right now, I'm only staying Friday night. I'm waiting on someone to get back to me if they can go or not. If not, I have a list of a few (million) people who've already asked to fill that spot. So while I don't know yet who I'm going with, it's pretty clear I won't be searching very hard.
