first let me say that i found this thread about a week ago and it is incredible. ive probably downloaded 4 or 5 shows already. but theres a few im still looking things im still looking for:

1. a live version of power trip. they did this one live in the 80's shows a few times but not after, even after louder than love was released according to the soundgarden live guide anyway.

2. a live version of cold bitch, if it exist

3. there is a myth about chris hitting a C6 in an old soundgarden bootleg. if anyone has any info on this and where i can find the note i would love it.

if you have a boot that contains any those request could u please either upload it or provide me with a link

THX!!!

Matt, can't wait for the new show! Thanks, as always, for tracking these shows down and sharing them with all of us.

I'd like to try and torrent something, so, does anyone want anything from the below list? These are some videos I have gotten recently...

7-12-1996 Randall's Island, NY (Lollapalooza) + Other Stuff (Prob 7-11-1996, but this came to me as 7-12...)
1-25-1990 The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY
11-28-1989 Fitzgerald's, Houston, TX
Kaiser Keller's Cellar (Promo) Seattle, WA + Other Stuff
VH1/Spin Mag Grunge Doc

I haven't had time to actually watch most of these yet, so I can't comment on quality.

Be warned, though, that I have horrible upload speed, which is why I have never tried to torrent before.

Sorry for the slow response to all of this. I was in Nimes seeing Radiohead!

Okay, to respond/comment to a few items:

*** I really, really doubt they ever played "Cold Bitch" live. They weren't all that into playing b-sides live.
*** Could you torrent 7/10/96+7/11/96, sunshine? I'd love to see that out there, even though I can't download it until I get back from France.
*** "Power Trip" wasn't performed much; the last time I can think of it being played is 3/11/89. However, they toured a shit-ton for Louder Than Live and about 5% of those shows have surfaced so I'm sure they did it from time to time. The last performance I can think of is 3/11/89 though.
*** 1/18/94 will be torrented when I get back from France, most likely.
*** The Live Guide is going to be moved soon. Hostsnake deleted my account for no reason whatsoever and I refuse to even acknowledge them from this point on. It will probably be awhile before it's back up, unfortunately.

Think I've seen that Grunge doc on youtube already. They mention how some believe Grunge died in 1994 with Kurt, then they say that others believe it ended in '97 when SG disbanded. Is that the one? I remember they had interviews with Kim and Tad Doyle who said that Layne was probably not doing too well at the time (around 1999-2001 I believe).

I'd say the Lolla '96 NY show would be cool to see.

What's your upload speed?

Here's the 96 Lolla show -
http://www.youkanland.com/index.php

I'm uploading to youkanland because anyone can join, and you can seed unlimited shows for as long as you want.

I'll get the others uploaded as soon as this one is well seeded. I have pretty terrible upload speed, so this might take a few days.

Do you have any screencaps of the show? My ratio over there isn't too good, so I wanna make sure the video is good before I download.

If you're ratio is not that good, PM me with your nickname. I can give you some "karma points" to add to your ratio. Once you download a show, just keep seeding it, even if no one is uploading. This will give you "karma points" that you can exchange to increase your ratio.

It's called grunge special (part 1) on youtube.

The actual name is something like Spin/Vh1 News Special: Grunge
