Anyone familiar with them or a fan? I have been getting into them a good bit recently and am trying to see them tonight in Philly.

I own Comback Cadillac and think it is great. I do not have the new EP and have not seen them live. I have heard good things though.

Yeah I have comeback cadillac and the rumsprina EP which are both awesome. I don't have their new EP but I actually did something on their site recently and one of their managers said he was sending me a vinyl copy of it. I hope to catch them tonight, I will let you know!

I saw them open for the Meat Puppets last fall and they put on a great show. The lead singer seemed really shy (almost Jim Morrison-like in his early years). He wouldn't make eye contact with the crowd at all. Their sound reminded me kind of early Kings of Leon.

just saw them last night in philly, good stuff. there was only about 20 people there so it was pretty cool. they played a good set, sounded really good live. they write some good songs, i really enjoyed it. hopefully they gain some momentum and keep making good music.

Love the Weeks but I havent yet picked up their latest release. Only seen them once. Good live show, but I will be honest and say that these dudes STINK, quite literally...I dont beleive they shower when they are out on tour. I agree with Lukinfan, they are definitely reminiscent of an early KOL. Glad to see some other fans.

For anyone interested they are re-releasing their newest EP with a couple added tracks. It's now an 8 song 12" on purple marveled vinyl, which marks their first release on KOL's serpents and snakes label. They are recording a new LP now. You can buy the re-release of Gutter Gaunt Gangster on amazon or their site here-http://theweeks.bandcamp.com/album/gutter-gaunt-gangster-2

Check them out if you have a minute

My pleasure! And as I saw my post again I meant to say purple marbeled vinyl, not marveled haha damn autocorrect. It's a solid EP tho and the track they added is a good one from a previous record that they re-recorded and it should fit well. They rock, hopefully more people catch on.

Their new album, "Dear Bo Jackson", is coming out April 30. I saw them again a couple months ago and heard a few of the new tunes and they are excellent. Definitely worth checking these guys out if you get a chance. They are opening for KOL in Europe for a couple months then hopefully will be back touring the US again.

This band has been my favorite discovery since moving to Nashville last July (they live here and play quite a few shows around town). Saw them open for the Whigs and have since seen them headline twice. Always play with great energy and I'm really digging all 3 of their releases. The stuff from the new album sounds really good as well. I've got a ticket for their album release show at the end of the month so I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more of the new album then.

The show where they opened for the Whigs was broadcast on the radio. Good mix from their 3 albums and a few new songs as well. Take a listen here: https://soundcloud.com/lightning100/nas ... nights-the
