Funny thing at a MSG show a couple years back, they got on at 8 and finished there show around 9:45....yes I said 9:45!!! Who the fuck headlines MSG from 8-9:45?!?!? It was a Sunday, maybe Mormons have to be in at a certain time on a Sunday???? Hahaha

I would have loved to see them play MSG and finish that early. The time I saw them there they had 2 opening acts that played at least 30 minutes each and the Killers didn't take the stage until about 10:00. It wouldn't have been a problem if not for the fact that we had to leave the show early in order to avoid missing the train back home or else wait around for 2 hours for the next train and get home sometime after 3:00. Still, they played "This River is Wild" that night so it was a great show.

My brother used to work for Live Nastion and he was working their show in Holmdel, NJ for their last tour. My girlfriend and I went to the show and he was able to snag us a setlist as a souvenir.

I can't believe that these guys picked Richmond as a warm up date and that I will be seeing them in a club next Friday. It will be my first time seeing them and I am really looking forward to it!
I can't believe I'm actually doing this...

http://youtu.be/2LOeImx0kW4 There's a link to the new song Runaways. Solid song, sounds like they're maturing. The Killers are one of the few bands to come out in the last decade that I'm truly a big fan of.

I've been waiting for new music from then for a LONG time now and here is my opinions on the new song;

Upon first listen I immediately thought it sounded like a mix between Day and Age and Flamingo, which isn't a bad thing. I love Brandon's voice on the song, although the music and lyrics are a little weak, I think it's a decent song. I am a little disappointed with it, as they band members have said in numerous interviews that their new material would have more guitars and sound more like songs from Sam's Town. That got my excited seeing as that is my favorite album of theirs and one of my favorites of all time. Now I hope that is just how one of the songs sounds like and that the rest of the album will have a different feel to it. I do like the song alot, and even more with each listen, but I don't think it's their strongest work yet. However, with that being said, I am eagerly awaiting their new album, can't wait to hear it!

I've decided not to listen to any new songs until the album is released. But how were they?

Battle Born has leaked, and it is brilliant! Picks up where Sam's Town left off. The title track is the most epic song they've ever done. The guitar is back, quite a few solos on the album from Dave. I think people here will like it!
