My favorite song off Mirror Ball. Love the little piano mistakes in the middle!

GUYS! cool, I was just lazing around watching a Neil set from 97 and he OPENS with it....

the full set is here,

I have owned 2 Cutlass Supremes and loved playing this on long drives, so it holds a special spot for me. FANTASTIC song.

When Jeff said in PJ20 (book) during the recording of MirrorBall, that Neil would come in with sheets and sheets of lyrics, he no doubt meant this song!

I love this song (my favorite from MirrorBall)! I've never seen Neil do it live...hopefully we get lucky and he does it with Crazy Horse later this year.

Gotta play this album on the way home tonight. That's when it pays to have the upgraded car stereo. :D

I'd take Peace and Love as the top song on Mirror Ball, but I'm the Ocean is way up there. 8-)

Good idea! This album definitely is a "rock it loud in your car" kind of album.

Jeff has some sweet bass lines on the record that never fail to get me groovin'.

Love this album so much, especially this song.

"People my age, they don't do the things I do"

I love that Neil sang this when he was 49 - and now he's 66 and he's still doing things his own way!
“Do not postpone happiness”
(Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”
(Tim Rogers)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there's a full-scale Neil/Crazy Horse tour this summer, and that I can catch it.
