The 5/4 Newark show is up for download already. I got the ALAC format. Can't pretend to understand why it's better than MP3, but it sure does sound amazing and it was only $3 more. Under The Bridge is on now... goosebumps! What an awesome show! I love having the boot to remember it by.

Saw them last night in Boston. Great show. Josh is a really great guitarist. My only complaint was he over does some of the solos. For instance last night, on Californication, he used way to much distortion and feedback and missed a few of the key chords. I know he's not John and he shouldn't try to be, but I wish he wouldn't over play and make it sound totally different. Other than that and maybe one other time, he was awesome and I can't say enough about Flea. He didn't stop all night. Hands down the best and most dynamic bass player in music today. Can't wait to download the show.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Some scary shit outside the rock Saturday night. I decided against taking the train back after Fridays debacle so I just hit the bar across the street and hung out for a bit before grabbing a cab home.

Gosh, that sucks. I definitely felt unsafe on Friday night, but more from the concert crowd, I was relieved to see a few cops show up at the PATH station. There are also normally lots of patrol cars between the venue and the PATH so I felt less worried but man, it was all very strange. Good move on your part taking a cab home!

The walk to the train Friday was a little scary, we kind of went off the beaten path a bit and and wandered down some empty streets to the train. Once I saw that clusterfuck of people I said no way I'm  going to do this again Saturday.

BTW Did you notice a incident on the floor up front Friday night because we had a few security guys jump over the rail right next to us and head into the crowd. I looked back for a sec but couldn't really see anything.

No, didn't notice. It was actually quite hard for me to make out the people on the floor because of the lights, plus I could barely decide which band member to focus on, so I wasn't too concerned with what the crowd was doing

More on the Newark Assaults

NEWARK — The mob of teens who attacked and robbed five people who eaving a sold-out Prudential Center concert Saturday night were "laughing" during the brutal assaults, and may have set out to injure people rather than rob them, Newark police officials said this morning.

Hopefully they catch these animals before it happens again.

Glad you had fun, I would have absolutely loved to be there! Stupid final project getting in the way....Ah well, I'll catch em next time!

Cool to hear such positive reviews as of late. I've heard a lot of 'meh' reviews in the past.

Hey Bronx Bombers, since you were there both Newark shows, how was night 2 compared to night 1? Already got the night 1 boot, thinking about getting night 2 too when it's available!
