Rollins Band - Low Self Opinion

Not only is "The End Of Silence" my absolute favorite Rollins Band album, this track as the opener is just killer. Awesome song from an awesome record. Rollins Band is severly underappreciated in my eyes.

Man, I love this song too! Rollins will be doing some spoken work for the Dinosaur Jr. show I'm going to in December. Would love to see a Rollins Band show however

Hey, you and me both man! Back in 2006 Rollins Band opened for X here in Salt Lake City, however I was only 18 at the time and couldn't get in to the 21+ venue. Now that I'm old enough to enter, I've been many times and it is a wonderful place to see bands.

That would've been one of the greatest shows ever as I absolutely love both bands. Rollins Band opening for X?! Are you fucking kidding me? That's awesome...

Thanks, I do like to throw a bit of punk and hardcore in there once in a while. Check out this weeks show (MM86), there's a whole bunch of stuff from the US punk scene in the 80s. That stigma link was a crack up by the way.

How does JDB feel about the Black Sabbath news?

Stoked about the tour man, hope they make it to New Zealand. Heaven and Hell came down to NZ in 07 and it was amazing. Ozzy came in 08 and wasn't too great but I've heard he's sounding a lot better on his recent US tour. Not overly enthused about the idea of a new album but if Tony and Geezer go the way they went with the H&H album it should be good. Just hope they don't go down the road that Ozzy's gone with his albums over the last 15 years, ie over produced boring radio oriented crap.
