Reel to Reel tape deck

I just acquired an old Sony 4-track reel-to-reel tape recorder/player from my grandfather. Does anyone have any experience with these things? I got a stack of reels to go with it...some prerecorded...some blanks with old radio shows recorded on them...and two that are blank and still sealed. I was thinking of experimenting with recording some music of my own on them. Does anyone know if anyone still manufactures reels for these things? I found a vintage electronics web page with the exact same model that I just got...the Sony TC-377.
