Maybe I'm way behind the news, but this just hit my ears and my heart was filled with a beautiful rendition of Just Breathe.

i had heard this existed but until today id never actually heard willie sing it. it popped up on the tv this morning. it was the first time id heard just breathe since seeing edved early last year. i think its great.

Reminds me of Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt. The originals are great but the covers...painful

It sounds bad to me, too rigid sounding, too controlled sounding and sounds lacking emotion. I also don't like that Willie did it with his son. Would rather just hear Willie as usual. :mrgreen:

I have listened to this a few times now and I have to say that it is definitely not for me!

IMO this version has been overworked. It sounds far too busy and 'clanky' for my ears :(

I also feel that the song needs a deep voice to carry the weight of the lyrics-just saying.
