What does this song make you think of or what does it mean to you personally? Ive heard so many different interpretations of it, so thought Id ask you guys, as it would be interesting to find out

It makes me think of one of my aunties, who's had a little coffee shop in the same village in the same town in Brazil for over 20 years... and the bit that Eddie says ''I seem to recognize your breath', makes me think of her even more, cos she smokes a lot, and has done most of her life...I havent seen her in ages and this song makes me miss her...

To me on a personal level it means 'you smell like my lover'
that is a very good comforting thing, almost can't find the right words to describe
that feeling.

When Eddie sings this song I've always felt it is for all of us ...
the words tell of the lasting bond that will never cease, that we share with him
and that is renewed when we see him again
