Postby TH223984 » Sun May 23, 2010 5:39 pm

Im getting married in 4 weeks and want to have a PJ song as our 1st dance. Its hard to find a song that would work. Any suggestions? I love "Come Back" but having a hard time convincing the future wife.

Live (slow version) cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love".

p.s. If you can't agree on a Pearl Jam song, she's probably not the one. Nice girl no doubt. Just not THE one.

HArvest Moon Cover may be good choice. They played for a couple at Borgota who had just got married. Eddie brought them on stage.

Rookie question: Where can the live version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" be found? Is it a boot?

If I were getting married in 4 weeks I'd have to go with Just Breathe.....every time I hear the song it makes me take a step back from the day to day and realize whats important in life....loved ones

This would be my choice...

OR...

Just Breathe, Parachutes or Blue Red and Grey (awesome cover)

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I am a die-hard fan and think come back is a terrible choice. Come on :).

Agreed on Can't Help Falling in Love.

But I'd personally go for Amongst the Waves. Then again, I've been married for 15 years :D
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

Amongst the Waves would be good :D

I also think Come Back is a bad choice... It is, afterall, a song about losing someone.
