A very good friend of mine, that was actually in a band for a while thought the lyrics to the Cherry Poppin' Daddies song Zoot Suit Riot was "Zoom, Zoom Brian!" I'll never forget walking down Main Street with her when she started singing it at the top of her lungs Zoom, zoom Brian, Brian!!! I actually stopped walking and just stood there laughing. She couldn't figure out what was so funny and I couldn't stop laughing to tell her.

One I kept thinking I was hearing wrong that was actually right is "Like Pilate I have a dog." I thought that was too lame to be the actual lyrics!

The chorus,"Hell's bells" (quite simply), I always heard as, "have a spaz!"


If you listen to it, it does sound more like 3 syllables than 2.
