This is by far the biggest exclusion. It's one of their greatest hard rocking songs from the later years. How It did not make the cut for the Rock 1000 I do not know. But It is far greater than any of some of the shit some people voted for. At the end of the day this song needs to be heard by more people. Next year NZ Jam fans should vote in force for this song and the others I mentioned.


Because it wasnt a single? Who You Are is probably my least favourite song, god I dislike it lots. I dont like the studio version of DTE either and I dont think itd go down too well on the Rock. Rather that than Nickleback though!!
In other news , got my Foo tickets and im set although not happy with it being at the Supertop.
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

Can't wait for the Foos, and the Supertop should be alright. I suggest you all visit the "Australian Tour Rumours (no bullshit)" Thread and encourage its progress. And get an Australasian Tour number!

Rock star is one of the very few things on TV I watch. It sounds like that JD guy is going to absolutely destroy We Are The Chapions.

Have you been to a gig at the Supertop before? It's terrible! But I'm still going of course :D

Today's All Black Track on the ROCK is Nothingman picked by Steve Divine. What a top bloke!!! After it was played Nick Trott gave him shit about it. He said "How can you come out to a game of rugby after listening to that?". Just cause he's a real bogan and thinks that everything revolves around GnR, Metallica, Def Leppard, ACDC etc. It's obviously Steve's favourite song. Cut the man some slack. Also all the kiwi's here need to vote for all Pearl Jam albums for the rock 100.

at least you get the rock, down in queenstown we get really shit music stations like the edge and zm. But saying that the local station Q92 does play some great songs, a month ago they played mother love bone and the dj talked about how they became pearl jam

actually the rock is starting to get a bit crap sometimes. maybe cause it's just cause i complain cause i never hear enough pearl jam. it would be awsome if the rock played some MLB.

Yeah it was pretty sweet to hear mlb on it they have played it a couple of times, also they once played dont gimme no lip off the lost dog album, but apart from the odd pearl jam song they play 99.9% crap

And they sometimes play I got shit which is good to hear. And I've heard LOTL Daughter a couple of times lately...

How do you guys feel about the "Fat Freddy's drop"? I think they have make the most amazing New Zealand music since Crowded House (even better than one of my favourite bands in Shihad). Would love to see the drop open for PJ.
