This show was incredible – absolutely amazing - still’s feels kind of unreal. And while waiting for Eddie at the back door I met wonderful people – together we did brave the shitty Manchester rain.

Quite simply an amazing show and I've still got a smile on my face coming into work on Monday morning! I really love Into the Wild and seeing Guaranteed live was a real highlight for me. First time hearing Long Road, Speed of Sound, The End, Arc and Sometimes live, all completely amazing. The End in particular, I had one of those moments when you find a new appreciation of a song after hearing it live.

Problems at the gig have been well documented, but grown men in their 40s crushing forward is pathetic (or maybe I'm too British, we do love a good queue ).

Great seats in the front row of the circle too. Avoids all the problems of people getting up in front of you to go to the bar every 10 mins and having a camera stuck up in your face.

Overall, it's right up there with my favourite gigs of all time. Now I've just got to persuade my girlfriend that having a poster with a massive orange face on it will look great in our spare room!

I have had some great nights over the past month or so with the band and Saturday with Eddie was another one. Started out a sunny day arrived in Manchester checked out the new National Football Museum and the shops.

To the night and and went to the pre-show get together at the Piccadilly. So many familiar faces from Berlin and it was great to get to talk to people properly and meet more fans. Met up with my friend who lives in Mancs and headed to the Apollo and the heavens started to open...this is the Manchester I remember lol. Long queues to get in the venue by the time we got there and we went for a quick beer at the pub next door. Made it into the venue and headed for merch. It was a big queue but I thought it won't take too long 20 minutes later I don't think I had taken a step forward! I seemed to lose complete track of time but by the time I got to the front I had already missed Glen who I had planned on seeing. There was certainly no limit on the posters saw one guy buying about 5. From reading the merch thread I think restricting this would stop people helping others out so I kinda understand but 5? Jeez.

I had a missed call from my friend and headed into the show at which point I heard ITW music and it went dark. I thought no way Ed is on now!? Momentary panic and I found my seat whilst Ed had already started 'Don't Be Shy'. Row L - great seats (Thanks 10c) The show was amazing it was just great to see the man do his thing solo. I thought he sounded fanatastic and played great. Highlights so many but I have loved 'Picture In A Frame' since the Live in Italy DVD and I didn't expect to hear it but it was so good. 'Sometimes' 'Rise' 'Hide Your Love Away' and a great version of 'Porch' - I just wish I was back! Went in the aisle for 'Rocking and 'Hard Sun' which was amazing.

All in all a fantastic evening. Enjoy the London shows everyone

This by far was my fav pj/ev gig & we couldn't have asked for a better set list. We hadn't heard of Glen before this tour and thought he was really good - just a shame he only played 5 songs - would have liked to hear more. Was a dream come true to have front row seats for this show

We had an amazing time at this gig, we made a weekend of it camping in the peak district on the friday with wonderful views, watching the sun go down, singing karma police with the other campers and then in the morning driving through the peaks to go and see the Ev and GH what an amazing time.

I won't pick any songs because I felt lucky that I was there with my partner and my best buddy and having this moment with them and every song made me tingle from head to toe. At times it was difficult up in the circle to hear them play at the beginning because of the noise but what got me was the 3 guys sat in front constantly on their phones not paying attention at all with no appreciation for the music that was played and the fact that they spent their whole time looking at Nazi propaganda video's on their phones! But I wasn't going to let them ruin that for me and neither was the company I was in.

It was cool because they thought the gig had ended and they left only for Eddie to come back out...

This is something I will always remember and I will be trying to get tickets for their last show in London...hopefully without the constant pictures being taken but if I don't manage to get in, I hope all of you that are going to tonight's gig in London, have a great time and please just enjoy every moment that you have with this and forget the camera's. Memories can be a wonderful thing. x

Fantastic throughout. EV and GH duets were incredible. Have they any plans to record together?

We were row D towards left of Circle. Two girls in front filming, photographing, and (can you believe) texting through all the performance. I wonder if they will fully appreciate just what they should have experienced, had they just concentrated on the show.

I won't go on about the negatives, as they have pretty much already been highlighted by others. My memory of the show will always be positive........just ignore the pratts.

Young lad, (early teen), sat next to my wife, and playing air guitar to Porch was priceless.

Hi all, I went to this show with my friend and Ive gotta say we were totally blown away. Ive seen PJ several times live as I know many of you have but seeing my first EV solo show was a whole different experience. The set was fantastic and it was so good to hear Sometimes and Speed of Sound (My fave track on Backspacer) live for the first time. The sound in the room was perfect and Eddies voice was fantastic. Ive gotta say tho that the thing that made the biggest impression on me was just how good eddie's guitar playing really is. Sometimes (No pun intended lol) you just dont appreciate how accomplised a player Eddie is when hes playing alongside Mike and Stone but to just hear him alone with an acoustic/electric guitar/ukelele absolutely blew me away and i liked his stomping on the floor to provide percussion. Gutted i missed Off He Goes whilst queueing for a t-shirt in that debacle of a merch stand. The two people on there had no personality either and maybe should get a different job. Apart from that I had a great night. On a final note I hear what people are saying about disruptive people shouting out. I was in the rear stalls near the back and somebody behind shouted at Ed to "Just get on with it!" as he was telling a story. For me people like this are not genuine fans and shouldnt attend intimate gigs such as these. Me and my friend collectively turned round and told the idiot to shut up. Anyway A thoroughly enjoyable gig and would strongly recommend anybody to go who has never been to an EV solo show. Peace and love for now fellow Pearl Jammers

Thankyou thankyou thankyou 10c for the fantastc seats, row g to the side, so priveledged to be at this show. Our section was very respectful - no filming. The shout out that ruined happiness shared was not good but I thought the "what you have for breafast?" was actually quite funny!
TRuly best gig ever for me and I have been to many. So poweful and emotional how one voice filled the room. Eddie and Glen at the front of the stage was simply magical and will stay with me forever

I have a huge fondness for both Manchester and the Apollo itself so really this gig couldn't have been better and then 10C go and give me Circle Row A tickets. Thank you. Very probably up there in one of my top five gigs of all time.
(could have done without the beeping of iPhone cameras throughout the quiet bits and honestly, what part of NO FLASH do people not understand - but the gig in general was waaaaay to good to moan about idiots!!)

I had an absolutely incredible time at this. Eddie was fantastic - I would absolutely love to see PJ do a small venue tour. 10C seats were brilliant, the only real downside was waiting to queue at the merch stand for so long I missed all of Glen Hansard.
I'm guessing it wont be released as a boot, but I really hope it is. It was such an experience, I would love to relive it!

Incidentally, my brother in law accompanied me to this and the Isle of Wight fest. He owned Ten but never really got into Pearl Jam. The two shows have converted him - his first ever music related t-shirt was bought after the show from the merch stand, and he is now buying up the back-catalogue!
