What Do You Guys Feel About The Other Acts?

Step out on the porch to discuss Pearl Jam's music, tour, appearances, causes they support, etc. It's all about Pearl Jam here.

I'd like to see Metallica, Raconteurs, Tegan and Sara, and Jack Johnson, as well as Pearl Jam. Hmmm. At least I have some time to decide.

Pearl Jam and Metallica in the same weekend? Not bad . . .

It's true that I stopped listening to Metallica quite some time ago, but as a teenager they were my favorite band in the world. I would love to see them again.

But do I want to drive 1,000 miles, camp out in a parking lot, and be surrounded by hippies for 4 days???? THAT, is the big questions.

As for the comedians, I saw David Cross open for PJ in Portland. There were a couple of times during the performance when I expected rotton fruit to rain down on him. (and I was waiting for Ed to sucker punch him when he went off on The Who)

I can't believe that folks do not think this is worth the money...it may be too much to ask to camp out for 4 days, but these acts are worth the outlay. As far as camping out goes, I'm 43 (no not a hippy:) so if the wife oks it, I'll be heading down with my 15 year old daughter for some fun.

Nicole Atkins is great. I saw her open for Jesse Malin at the Stone Pony and she blew everyone away...pretty much upstaged him. Her debut album is amazing. You should all check her out:
