anyone else having a hard time finding people to go to bonnaroo?

I have a bunch of friends who like music, but aren't willing to necessarily go to this. It IS a big commitment where you'll be forking over some dough, but it's tough for me to even find one person. I've had a lot of 'maybes,' and 'who's playing?' but no ecstatic 'hell yeah, that sounds cool.' Grrrrr, I hope just one of my friends goes. I'm poor too dammit, but I'm down for this!

I was going to go, but after much thought, I'm not going now. Just don't feel like throwin all that money down for just PJ. not real into the other bands. yeah, they are ok/good, but none that I'm drooling over.

I'll save the money and wait for more PJ shows.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

My friends have jobs (as do I), so it is unlikely I will be making the trip (although it is PJ so I must likely will do a 180)

I have 2 RV's full of friends. Total we are 4 PJ veterans, and 6 PJ virgins dying for a fix.

When I told them the lineup, the response I got was "Well.. thats cool.. we just wanna see Pearl Jam".

I want to go but not sure any of my friends will be up for it. The lineup isnt stellar other than pj, and no one can predict their schedule a few months away, except for me...

So I may be looking for someone to go with, cuz im not going by myself to camp for 4 days.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

between the other bands, or lack thereof, and the fact you can't buy a single ticket....

this pretty much killed it for my friends and i.
