What the heck?? Is this like a Gorge kinda place?? It's out in the middle of........nothing? Does the concert venue have a website? :?

Not quite the scenery of the Gorge, but it is an amphitheater, kinda looks like Alpine Valley does to me, picture wise at least.

It's in the middle of Vantucky Washington. Not much around there but farms, casinos, strip malls and freeway. :)

Woa. Totally wasn't paying attention to this at all - LOL!! Thought it was downtown Portland kinda dealie. Interesting.

So if we had it nearby and got a shuttle it would drop us at the little dot in the middle..

That's why this pre-party could potentially be an epic disaster. I know 0 people that want to hang out in Vancouver before the show.

Don't know if a tailgaiting party would be allowed here or not. That is probably your best bet. Either that or having the Wishlist Afterparty or something.

Just natural for me to respond when somebody says Alpine Valley. hehe

Did it pain you to hear Ed say they played Chicago instead of Alpine?

No I enjoyed the shows and had a huge smile on my face when he talked about Alpine.

It will be seven years next summer and well I can wait and hope for it next year. :)

Anyway back to Portland party talk. :)

I can't imagine the shuttle thing working out because of the traffic. Making trips from some bar in Vancouver to the venue in venue traffic would make for a very long wait between shuttles and most likely a frusterated shuttle driver. Things would of been a 1000 times easlier if they played the Rose Garden. Also it sounds like Clark County Amp. allows no tailgating, so thats not much of an option.

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about flying into Seattle because the airfare is much better and driving the rental car down to Portland. How long of a drive is it from Seattle to Portland realistically? Trying to book tickets tonight most likely. Thanks!

About 2 hours from Seattle to the Venue. 2 1/2 hours to downtown Portland.

As long as Paul Allen owns it I don't think that will happen again.

So what if we have a long wait getting there, pretty sure we all have reserved seats.

And +1 guest for me.

We just returned from Outsidelands ( via Portland).
The venue is right off I-5, I would say it is about 20 minutes from Portland- but hours from Seattle- grueling hours that involve 18-wheelers and Tacoma.

( I also took the shuttle from Outsidelands and didn't get back to our hotel till 1am- most of that time was standing in line-)
You must be the change you want to see in the world
