She also sent me a Pearl Jam postcard to tell me what this vinyl used to mean to her!





The album she sent me is a compilation album of New German Wave entitled Schritt fuer Schritt, which if my translation is correct, means step by step. Lisa let me know that this was a very influential album for her and at one point it was one of her favorites. As soon as I am done writing this post I'm going to take it right to my phonograph and spin it.

Thank you so much Lisa! I'm very grateful that you sent me a vinyl that meant so much to you! Even if I can't understand the lyrics I'm a firm believer that music can transcend language.

Wow - that was fast! Good to know that it arrived savely And I'm curious whether you'll like it - it's fun music and you don't need to understand the lyrics (they aren't that deep anyway )
