Private Messages stuck in Outbox

When I send a private message, it says it has been sent, however, there are two messages sitting in my outbox.

Plus, it does not show that I sent them from the "sent mail" page.

They stay in your outbox until it is read, then moves to sent.

It means that they have not yet been read.... when they are read, they will leave your outbox.

Hahaha! I just had a thread on this yesterday or the day before. SOOOO glad to know I am not the only one who was dumbfounded by this...

they way the whole pm outbox vs. sent thing is pretty stupid! should be you send a pm email, and it shows up in the sent section. easy. understandable. why can't it be normal?????????????

I'm at IT guy for A LIVING and I didn't get this until I read it on here.

In my world, "Outbox" means it's just sitting there, pending delivery. "Sent items" means it was sent successfully. So nobody else should feel bad about not being able to figure it out!

I thought the same thing and thought I lost out on tickets because of it..glad to know I"m not the only one and what it really means here.

I have had messages sent to me, but it reading "0 new messages". I'm glad I just go and check occasionally.
