Must be tough to make millions of dollars to pitch poorly and then pout about it.
why the hell did he pinch hit for dom brown in the 9th last night? 2nd time in the last few days. game was over but who cares? brown should get every possible at bat he can get in these 2 months. that pissed me off.
because the manager is a dumb ass
brown has looked good since coming back up. new swing is much better. hopefully the power is coming

Seriously. Reeks of desperation. Who's next? Dave Hollins?

I dunno. I liked Liberthal being inducted. In fact, I think he embodies the "Fighting Phillies" mantra as much as anybody in my time as a fan. And by most statistical measures, he was better than Daulton. But we all love Daulton because we all love the '93 team. I'm more than fine with Liberthal in the wall of fame.

I hear you. Problem is honoring either of them celebrates mediocrity. Something this team does far too often

Well they are the losingest team in the history of North American professional sports...so celebrating mediocrity almost seems justified. They probably shouldn't induct someone EVERY year. But if they must, I'm fine with Liberthal this year. But who the heck are they gonna honor next year? The Phanatic?
Here's who I think some obvious future honorees will be: Burrell, Howard, Utley, Hamels, Rollins, Manager Charlie Manuel, GM Ruben Amaro.
Calm down, Fixer. I'm kidding about Amaro.

Damn. Wish I'd known - was down there from 11 till like 7. First in FDR, then all over the ballpark, and then Bar Mall.
By the way, this is the first time in 8 years of going to the ballpark that I ate something from Bull's other than the pulled pork sandwich. I gotta say the sampler isn't that bad of a price relative to everything else down there.
