yeah our grass is dying as well. corn & soybeans are still green. we've had plenty of rain actually. but yeah a scorching sun will brown one's grass.

with the heat index it's been something like 110 degrees or some shit

Same somehow here. It's been raining every day this week, even multiple times, and really hard. This is no summer, a little sun in between would be nice. However, constant heat and humidity and no rain must be a pain in the ass I hope everybody gets what they want and what their plants need soon ...
