I am talking about the website...
The way hands are dealt...

Not about how you or anyone else plays......

I am starting to notice that every game there is "a person" who seems to land some pretty consistent hot hands throughout the match. I know that happens in real, sit down at the table...poker...but this seems to be happening every game in the AET poker room.

Is it ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that the COMPUTER PROGRAM/ THE WEBSITE has more or less chosen the WINNER.

Is it possible that these cards are FAR FROM RANDOM??

mcam took what I said as an insult...What I said was not directed towards him in any way shape or form...He played the cards he was dealt, he played them well, he CRUSHED that entire table.....

But I have said it for YEARS in regards to that website, pokerstars.com....

To say those hands are dealt RANDOMLY....
Is just plain silly.....

Yup.
A person (not going to name names) on here...landed at least 7-8 pocket A's in one 4 person game that lasted only 15 mins or so. Sorry folks, that shit doesn't happen...not to mention his other super-ridiculous hands.

I'm still gonna play, because one day...once I'm out of that damned center seat...it'll be me! At which point, I'll admit that I was the "chosen one" that week!

I personally don't see anything wrong with the cards that are dealt. I don't know of anyone's brick and morter experience playing poker but as players we see a CONSIDERABLE percentage of more hands at the cyber table. One of the misconceptions of Texas Hold'Em is it's a five card game. It's not. It's a seven card game. Being willing to loosely call at the AET table is going to open yourself up for cards to beat you or for you to catch a hand giving the perception that something funny is going on.

That's my point. Seeing more hands leads me to believe that it's truly not legit.
When something happens 7/10 times, it's just odds. When something happens 70/100 times or 700/1000 times, it becomes far more statistically significant. The P-value under the curve becomes more understandable with a larger pool.

I've been playing cards for a long-ass time, and what I've seen over the last 5-6 weeks has really made me wonder.

Don't get me wrong, there have been some bonehead calls and moves as well, but one player constantly being "fed" insane hands over and over again....just doesn't happen. People get lucky from time to time, we've had one person six+ weeks in a row truly being the "chosen one".

If you saw the same number of hands at a casino it's in my opinion there's no difference. It's the loose calling that makes bad or suspect hands win. Last week I raised the pot before the flop 4 times the big blind with four people behind me. I had a/j. I flopped the ace with other paint on the board and I was called. On the turn a j comes giving me two pair. I bet again and was quickly called. The turn comes and its a five. I go all in and the other player turns over pocket fives. It happens. My point is that player shouldn't have been in the hand anyway with three bets and FOUR over cards on the board. I was dead to a set or a straight at that point. It happens. Again it's the loose play that contributes to this. Not some fix. We should just go on one night and just keep doing all ins preflop and just see the randomness of the hands that comes. I think al lot of people would be surprised what hands can win when you throw the danger of a bet out.

I'll use this example. Throw out the dominance of these hands in regards to the aces beating 2's and look at it purely mathematically. We are heads up. I have pocket 2's and you have pocket a's. We both go all in. Statistically I have the same chance of a two coming as you have of an ace coming. Now in reality the scales are tipped because of the a's being better for you to win the hand, but from an odds stand point we both have the same odds of hitting the "miracle card" for a set.

Loose calling is what breeds these hands to look wacky. Not a glitch in the program. Just my opinion.

I get what you're saying about the loose calls. Some of them really make me scratch my head and wonder.
That said, I do think that far too often there is one guy who just gets fed amazing cards all night and has things stacked in his favor. I rarely see this in the live setting.
Over the last 5 Sunday games, I was able to predict the winner 4/5 times within the first 10 minutes and that had really nothing to do with chipstacks.
