Yeah, Rustica is the only place I really order from. Definitely the best I have had. Don't think they cook it enough though at times.

I'd agree with that. Almost better left over than fresh. Still great though

For sure. Definitely the best pizza available.

Tomato pie and water ice are two things I don't get about Philly.

Did I ever tell you my *Pizza story*

I was about a year old. I loved pizza so much that I ate it until I fainted because to me eating pizza was more important than breathing. Although it probably only happened one time, after that time my mom had to instruct any babysitters . . . If Mary faints just put her on her side . . . .

I still love pizza. PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA HOW I LOVE THEE PIZZA!!!

Yeah, I'm with you on both. I mean I'll eat them, but I don't get off on them like a lot of others.

For those in north eastern mass ...

Tony and Ann's - Dracut, MA

http://www.tonyandannspizza.com/history.html

It resided in North Chelmsford for about 30 years, but closed after the founder (Tony) passed in the late 90s. After many attempts to get them to reopen, of offers in the millions dollars for the recipe ... the kids finally reopened the place up last year.

For the first month, lines were up to 1 - 2 hour long!

One of the animators from the Simpson's was from Chelmsford and the old T&A has been in a few episodes ...

And as always, only open 3 days a week.

It's a cult following. It's a unique taste. It's all about the sauce and the cheese. The sauce is *really* sweet and there is a ton of it ... and the cheese is a blend, at least 4 - 5 kinds in there with almost a bitter or sour taste. But the harmony of the two is beyond fantastic. And yes, the only pizza I'd ever want with NOTHING on it, plain cheese for me, thanks!

I live for pizza!!! I don't have any favorite local places, but so far the best I've had is at a place called Pi in St. Louis. I will be hitting it up when we are in town for Ed.

Don't think its been cleaned in 40 years either.  :?

And aren't you supposed to tout The Pizza Center?
Though I understand its not what it was back when the late great Sully owned it.

I'm picky about pizza...pizza is just bread with red sauce and cheese to me.

UNLESS it's from:

check out their menu...awesome!
owned by Italian guys
they use local ingredients (pepperoni is from Salumi-Mario Batali's dad's place

I don't get to eat there often...not one near where I live :(
