One thing I miss about when I lived on long island is all the AMAZING pizza. Having grown up with it there, I didn't realize that it would not be as good anywhere else, including here in Richmond VA where I moved to 10 years ago.

Levittown NY
-Two Brothers: Amazing Sicilian slices. Crust is delicate and fresh, but thick. That's a hard balance to find around her. Also their Baked-Ziti slice is great.

Westbury, NY
-Mama Theresa's: They used to have a great Baked-Ziti slice, but now they changed the recipe, and it's actually a little better! They now make it in a pocket, similar to a calzone, but with baked ziti inside... and the outside of the pocket is a little "glossy", so it's just a nice unique "slice".

Garden City, NY
-Garden City Pizza: Great Baked-Ziti slice, Grandma slice (like Sicilian but flat), and the other standards. Always have tons of options ready to go.

Richmond VA:

-Cozzoli's Pizza in Short Pump is really good, for the area, with a regular and mediterranean slice.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Gino's East in Chicago. If your ever here it is the Deep Dish Pizza of all Deep dish Pizza. What makes it great is they use a corn crust. I think you can even have it shipped/FedEx to you.

In the Burbs (Bolingbrook and Woodridge) of Chicago PaPa's Pizza. Someting about their tangy sauce to the cheese and crust. There is no pizza even in Chicago that tastes like it.

I live near a ton of pizza places.

Chicago>New York

Pepperoni/sausage combos are great and once in a blue moon I'll get a chicken Parma pizza. It's simply amazing.
He must work out

Yeah, Rustica is the only place I really order from. Definitely the best I have had. Don't think they cook it enough though at times.

I'd agree with that. Almost better left over than fresh. Still great though
