Announcer: The book is full of disgusting words and acts, including Sarah Jessica Parker, who is mentioned four hundred and sixty-five times. (a shot of Parker and her date at the Oscars) Matthew Broderick, are you upset your wife is made fun of so much in the book?

Broderick: Well, obviously. I just think it's wrong to make fun of anybody's physical appearance. My wife is a beautiful woman and I know that most people agree with me.

Announcer: Uh huh, and Matthew, how come a transvestite donkey witch is standing next to you, and why is it wearing a dress?

I don't think any other show has had so many absolute gut-aching-laugh moments. I mean, I don't want to mock the dead, but the first time I saw "The Jeffersons" I almost passed out from laughing!
It's gonna be a glorious day...

Morgan Freeman reading Butter's second book was one of the greatest tv moments ever.

I enjoyed the 200th and 201st episode a lot. Only thing that sucked was that they bleeped out Kyle's speech towards the end. Other than that great episodes. I would like to find a clip where it is not censored. Heard they didn't have permission to have it.

Great episodes. southparkstudios.com suspended both episodes as well as the season 5 episode that had The Super Best Friends with Mohammad in it. Other say it was aired in Europe uncensored so I'm hoping for a torrent.

I think you're missing the joke there.

I don't think it was a joke.
Parker and Stone came out with a statement saying the speech was supposed to be about intimidation and fear, but Comedy Central censored it.

A bit ironic, but definitely not intentional humor from the creators.

Oh good lord. The whole episode was about censorship, and the stupidity thereof. Bleeping out 2 minutes of there own 'script' was a joke on that. And of course they came out and said they were censored. It's Parker and Stone for god's sake. It's all part of the overall joke.
Listen, if a network seriously thought the speeches from Kyle and Santa were that risqué, they would have cut the show or not aired it at all because in essence they had 2 minutes of dead air. That's unacceptable in any medium. IT WAS ALL PART OF THE JOKE!

You can write in all caps all you want. I just disagree. I doubt the creators of the show are going to throw Comedy Central under the bus unless they thought the network deserved it for actually censoring them (because every other news outlet that's covering the story is saying Comedy Central dropped the ball by not showing the final two minutes of the show, apparently not seeing it as the joke that you are seeing) and, on top of that, what you are describing doesn't even seem like the kind of joke Parker and Stone think is funny.

I agree that they tend to focus solely on social/current events now.........but when it leads to quality episodes like this season, i dont think anybody is going to complain
