Philly is getting healthy, if they start winning games at home that they should have won earlier in the year, eeek...scary
All that being said - LETS GO METS!!!

The team that should scare you is... the Mets. And their typical collapse which has already started.

It's ok, they weren't expected to do anything. They're not the team with a $180M payroll.

Seriously! He gave us a little glimmer of hope. I had to check several news sources to make sure I was reading the score right...I couldn't believe we won

You forgot to add:
Set the METS franchise record for strikeouts in a pitching debut (11)
Plus snapped a 6 gm losing streak

I wish they would have brought him up sooner, like the minute Gee was donezo - instead of subjecting us to the ancient and god awful Batista 6 days ago against the Dodgers...

LETS GO METS!!! Gained half a game in the wildcard and our playoff probability went from 5.9% yesterday to 6.5% today!!!

I wish they would have done so last Saturday when I went to the game. It was a free ticket thankfully but still, I did not see Miguel Batista pitch.

I think he does. This is just reality of the talent gap settling in, though you'd like to see more than five wins in a month.

If fans are drooling Harvey, just wait until Wheeler comes up. Also I don't get why fans are making a big deal outta our pitching prospects considering the last time we had 3 good ones they failed. I don't know maybe its cause I was little and hung my heart on generation k bringing us a championship, but I hope things will be different this time around. Also for the love of god can Jason Bay be traded. It be doing us fans and him a favors by getting him outta here.

AGREED - Bay is having trouble hitting simple ground balls to advance runners - last night Murphy doubles and he pops it up to the catcher!!!! And also had 2 K's... Jeez, I wish he'd get back on the roids or HGH, cause he's been a MAJOR disappointment - hopefully when Baxter comes back he plays more and Bay sits the hell down.

The bullpen is dismal.

Perhaps, but IMO this season he leaves guys in too long (see Niese last night) and went to a shaky Ramirez when Byrdak (who needs to throw)and Rauch were available.

Lets hope Chris Young comes out blazin tonight!
Let's go Mets (playoff hopes went down to 4.1 %)

81 - I know you are a diehard Bears fan, no disrespect at all - really, but c'mon - all teams have hope
What did the Bears do this offseason to LEAP ahead of Giants, New Orleans, Packers - let alone Lions?
C'mon - prove me wrong - Marshall? He's a bum and will disappoint you greatly - trust me
PHINS Super Bowl champs 2013!!!

Oh yeah, 8-8 last year, 3rd place in Div, lost to the WEAK AFC West, Lions and Seahags between Thxgiving and Xmas, barely squeaked out a W vs 3-13 Minny - but I'm crazy to criticize...

Good luck this year. As a PHINS fan, I'm hoping for the exact turnaround you're so confident the Bears will have...

Love ya 81 - and I love the NFL season - hope springs eternal for all!
