great to see finally see the light at the end of the tunnel somewhat, but all that above is preventing this team from truly being a wild card contender at the end of the season. someone like jason marquis would be perfect for us. he's always wanted to comeback home and now is the time for that. also adding mejia to the pen would be another great move. lastly but not least this is a really important draft specially the 1st round.

well how bout you just forget all that and just try to enjoy it.

I think that's part of the problem, not just with the Mets and other teams that struggle. Just live day-by-day and take whatever comes with it.
