They've done a nice job so far. It'd be nice to see them keep it up so New York can have two teams in pennant races this year. It's always more fun that way.

how bout seeing what happens in june before jumping off? Terry Collins is their best manager in some time.

misery becomes the norm when you've been a mets fan for life

murphy has 0 homers, that's pathetic and further drives home my hate and why he isn't a major leaguer
davis looks awful
bullpen is awful
5th starter is awful. look at what capuano is doing and tell me how come the mets couldn't bring him back.
no new contract for wright

great to see finally see the light at the end of the tunnel somewhat, but all that above is preventing this team from truly being a wild card contender at the end of the season. someone like jason marquis would be perfect for us. he's always wanted to comeback home and now is the time for that. also adding mejia to the pen would be another great move. lastly but not least this is a really important draft specially the 1st round.

Good game by Johan. With 93 pitches in the 6th might be difficult to go all the way

Even though I'm a Phillies fan, I have to admit to kinda having a man-crush of sorts on the '86 Mets. I uploaded some highlights onto youtube....

First since Tom Seaver to take it into the 9th. But will it hurt Johan keeping him in that long?

That's well done. And I totally thought he was just gonna put Freese on after he fell behind 3-0.
